Social Media in 2009

In April this year Justin Rains of Portal Planet invited us to attend Daniel Johnson Jr.'s New Media Cincinnati. We attended our first one in May '09. Loved it and haven't stopped attending since. This group has lead to other social meetups and most recently the Social Media Holiday Party 09 put on by Michelle Beckham, Julie Sweeney Bogart, and Anne Castleberry.

For the last 7 months we have connected with most of the members via LinkedIn, Facebook, and Twitter. It has been one of the best groups we have ever been a part of. The members are passionate about social media. Intelligent, Creative, Computer Literate, innovative, interesting, caring, and resourceful are just a few of the words I would use to describe them.

When we meet face to face it seems to deepen our relationships. Then in between we stay connected and follow updates that help you to know that person more. Looking forward to see what 2010 has in store for Social Media.

The Logo, The Tattoo, The Story

So many people have asked about the logo, so here is the story behind it.

For as long as I can remember I have always been interested in the old west. Old west movies, old west firearms, and old west (Victorian) clothing, horses, cabins, and the outdoors. Rough and rugged.

There are two images that really symbolize the old west. The American Bison, and End Of The Trail sculpture.

About 10 years ago I had a tattoo artist create a tattoo with two symbols. Then I used a photo of my tattoo to create the logo.

DON'T KNOW WHAT TO GET PEOPLE FOR CHRISTMAS...

Family portraits make great personlized presents. Don't know what to get grandma and grandpa - I bet they would love a framed photo or even a unique family portrait gift. You can order something special with your family portraits on it - how about a mouse pad, official TOPPS playing cards, coasters, cut out statue, etc.

A family photo shoot is a great experience. You spend an hour or more laughing, smiling, and playing together. How great to be able to capture those images that will last forever.
