Memorial Day was observed this past Monday. So we want to make today's blog a tribute to our Military. They have our utmost respect.

It's an honor to know people who passionately serve and have served our Country. We are very thankful for you all! May God Bless you and keep you safe.

Your courage and dedication are inspiring. Thank you!

Light is one of the most important elements in any picture.

One of the largest markets for portraits is NOT known for being original. Most portraits of children, engagements, and weddings are bland and predictable.

It's the way you use the lighting than can make the difference between good and great success. It's important to keep it simple. Then the look is always up to date and has a clean look.

Red-tailed Hawk

The Red-tailed Hawk's feathers are considered sacred by some Native American tribes.

One way you can tell if they are Immature birds is if their irises are yellowish. As they get 3 or 4 years old the iris turns reddish brown.

The Red-tailed Hawk is generally non-aggressive toward people and toward other birds. Which was apparent as I got about 5 feet from it and it's food. It didn't leave or ask me to either.

The prey they catch ranges from beetles to rabbits which are double their size. Sometimes they eat 5 ounces a day.

They are beautiful and interesting to take pictures of. When you look into their eyes - you just wonder what they are thinking.

Butterflies make great art prints.
Two butterflies flying together symbolize love. Some people say that when a butterfly lands on you it's good luck. Some people are inspired to paint or make kites from the coloring of butterflies. God was also very creative when he made butterflies.
If you want to start collecting something interesting - butterflies are a great choice. What do you think of when you see butterflies?
